About the Role
It takes a wonderfully special, welcoming and nurturing practitioner to support new families as they embark on their nursery journey, and to help settle their young baby into an early years setting.
If you’re reading this, then you may be that person…
We are excited to share two opportunities to become a Deputy Suite Leader. One within Babies at our setting in Hook- Oaklea House Day Nursery, and the other within Toddlers at our setting in Fleet- Heath House Day Nursery.
Both are part of a family owned group of day nurseries located in the Hampshire area and are located within walking distance of Hook or Fleet station and town.
We see you for you and work hard to support, recognise and praise our hardworking teams during these busy times. We have an excellent track record of internal promotion and progression and previous practitioners now sit in our highest Management positions. Most recently, we are excited to be supporting and funding a number of colleagues as they undertake their Level 5 qualification.
Above all- we love what we do, we take our family run nature seriously and we recognise the importance of working with like-minded people and striving to make our working environment a fun, happy and excellence-driven place to be. Our team vary in age, qualification and experience, which melds together to bring in exciting ideas and a supportive team feel.
We are looking for experienced practitioners with either a level 3, 5, 6 or QTS qualification who are confident working within a team and running a Baby Suite for between 16-18 children aged 3 months- 16 months in the Room Leaders absence, or the 18 place Toddler Suite. We have an excellent track record and passion for internal promotion and progression and previous Deputy Suite Leaders now sit in our highest Management positions.
Due to the seniority of the role, our preference would be for the chosen candidate to work 41 hours over 4.5days, however work/life balance is important and so we can be open to partial discussion on hours to suit both you and the nursery, so long as these match our session times to support the needs of the children.
Requirements: In date First Aid, food hygiene and Safeguarding certificate are desirable, but training is provided.
Pay: £13.50-14.00 per hour dependent on qualification and experience
We look forward to hearing from you!
