About the Role
It’s an exciting time across 3 of our nurseries, as some of our wonderful team prepare to go on maternity leave.
We have a range of upcoming Maternity Cover roles available, all holding senior responsibilities such as Deputy Suite Leader.
The joy of a maternity cover role allows you to come into the business, get a feel for the role, enjoy a next step of progression and suit your lifestyle if short term employment meets your current needs.
Whilst the maternity element implies a fixed term contract, our goal is always to place our maternity cover staff members into a similar or suitable role permanently following the completion of the maternity period.
The current maternity cover roles we have available are:
- Maternity Cover Over 2’s Suite Leader- Wentwood House Day Nursery, Fleet. Start date: ASAP. Anticipated end date: October 2026.
- Maternity Cover Over 2’s Deputy Suite Leader- Wentwood House Day Nursery, Fleet. Start date: June 2026. End Date: TBC.
- Maternity Cover Pre-School Deputy Suite Leader- Heath House Day Nursery, Fleet. Start date: May 2026. End Date: 2027 TBC
- Maternity Cover Pre-P Deputy Suite Leader- Oaklea House Day Nursery, Hook. Start date: February 2026. End Date: September 2026.
Our ideal situation would be for the chosen candidate to work 41 hours over 4.5days, however work/life balance is important and so we can be open to discussion on hours to suit both you and the nursery, so long as these match our session times to support the needs of the children- a combination of 8-6pm, 8-1pm or 1-6pm.

Salary: Competitive and to be discussed at interview. Please note that we are reviewing our salaries ready for introduction in April 2026.
