Heath House Day Nursery in Fleet is looking for an experienced, hands-on Nursery Manager to join our warm, family-run flagship nursery.
About Us
Heath House has been part of the community since 2009 and is proudly rated Good by Ofsted. We care for up to 110 children aged 3 months to 4 years in a friendly, homely setting located conveniently between Fleet High Street and Fleet Station. The Role
Experience has taught us that we need a strong, experienced and proven manager who is capable of hitting the ground running in a large (110 place) and busy (35 staff members) nursery.
For you, Ofsted is a doddle, research is a pleasure, compliance is forefront of everything you do and idea sharing and team empowerment comes naturally.
You recognise the crucial importance of a child’s first 5 years and as a result, you thrive on providing an engaging, challenging and fun curriculum that puts the children and the team at the heart of all you do.
Mostly, you recognise what an honour it is to be entrusted with the care of someone’s child, and therefore showrounds are passionate, enthusiastic and welcoming, and parent partnership is defined as a cornerstone of a successful setting.
You’ll be supported by a long-standing (some are celebrating 15 years this year!), highly qualified team and a family-run management group who truly care about seeing you reach your highest potential and seeing the nursery shine. This includes a robust Admin and Finance team who ensure that your time is free to focus solely on the smooth and successfully running of the nursery.
Our very special team are your greatest asset, and their ingrained knowledge and expertise of Heath House will support you to settle in and to maintain our high standards.
On top of this, we are exceptionally lucky to have not 1, but 3 former Heath House Managers still within the business- therefore on hand to provide expert support and lengthy induction. This itself is a beautiful testament to not only the strength of managers we have had there over the years, but also their love for the business.
A busy role, you will typically wear many hats in a day. You will have excellent written and spoken communication skills, passion for selling our vision and delivery of childcare in a home from home environment, an openness and transparency with the team that allows them to know where they stand at any point of the day, and no shyness for getting involved in whatever is needed to ensure the smooth running of the nursery.
A special role, we are excited to find someone as passionate about our nursery setting as we are.
